Capricorn Plumbing & Piping Services was founded in 1992 on the key principles of honesty and quality. For 30+ years we have upheld these values, delivering a top-tier service throughout Perth's northern suburbs and metro area. Our team is led by proprietor John McCarney – a licensed plumber and gas fitter with over 50 years experience. Having operated a family-owned business for 30+ years in WA, John understands the needs of the local community. A master tradesman, John believes in passing down his expertise to the next generation of plumbers, and spent close to 10 years lecturing in Ireland, in addition to his lifelong work in commercial and domestic plumbing.

John retired December 2023.

Dylan McCarney carried out his apprenticeship with Capricorn Plumbing & Piping Services, and now has 17 + years experience within the company. A qualified plumber and gasfitter, Dylan has extensive commercial and domestic experience and full contractor license, and has helped earn and keep Capricorn Plumbing & Piping Services' flawless reputation.

Clodagh McCarney is the administrator of Capricorn Plumbing and keeps a tight handle on the accounts and paperwork. She has an extensive background in customer service having worked in both hospitality and the retail industry as well as holding customer service roles in the local hospital and the university. She prides herself on her customer service, her attention to detail and her “can do” attitude. Clodagh is a former member of a local BNI Chapter and was the Chapter President in 2020 and puts so many of the networking skills she has learnt into practice in the business. Her interest in further learning has provided her with an extensive knowledge of running the business and providing information and follow up details for her clients.
